Expat's Health Insurance Can Be Cancelled In Only 3 Cases
The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia clarified that there are 3 cases in which employers can cancel expat's or citizens ' insurance policy. It is the responsibility of an employer to insure all his employees and their dependents are covered.

An expat asked that his wife and child have been added to his insurance policy, can their insurance be canceled and the rest of amount refund? The response was given by the Health Insurance Council stating that there are only 3 cases for canceling the health insurance of an expat.

  3. Death

It has been clarified by the Council that the employer is responsible to insure all his workers and their covered family members, who are wives, male children up to the age of 25 years, and unmarried and non-working daughters for the duration of their employment with him.
